Unused postcard of black and white photograph of bucket brigade at Grimsby Park. A large group of people are standing in a line on both sides of a path, passing buckets up the line. The entrance gate at the pier and a boat house are visible in the photograph. The photograph is likely of an attempt to extinguish a fire at Grimsby Park. The photograph has been made into a postcard.
There is a reference on Page 46 of the book "Grimsby Park The Chautaugua of Canada to a fire in August 1914 when "...the young people of the Knickerbocker Stock Company who are performing at the Park just now. These brave people were on the scene almost immediately and organized a bucket brigade to fight the flames until the firemen arrived.
