This is a digital born record. No physical copy exists within the Grimsby Museum collections. A black and white photograph of eleven women posed on a wooden porch extending off the side of a single-storey wooden building. They are smiling at the camera, and most of them are wearing collared shirts and have their shoulder-length hair down. There are two baby dolls being held in the photo. Six women are standing in the back, one woman is crouching in the middle, and four women are sitting with their legs dangling off the edge of the porch. On the back of the image is a caption written in black ink which reads: "Back Row L-R - Joy Brodhagen June Tait Lorraine Parker Sylvia Taylor Jerry Witzel Pat Conway. First Row L-R - Theresa Gray Ruth Swartz Cooky Wallis Pat Henderson Mary Noble." Also on the back of the image is the number "945" stamped in black ink. This photograph was mounted in an album on a black page. Written underneath it in white pencil was the caption: "Closed Night Back Row - Joy, June, Me, Si, Gerry, Pat Front - Theresa, Ruth, Cookie, Pat, Mary" |
