Description |
This is a digital born record. No physical copy exists within the Grimsby Museum collections. A black and white photograph of four women in sleepwear on a wooden porch extending off the side of a single-storey wooden building. They are posing jokingly with two baby dolls in their hands. The woman on the far left is wearing a robe, slippers, pyjama pants, and a headscarf. The other three are wearing sets of shorts and shirts with their shoulder-length hair down. On the back of the image is a caption written in black ink which reads: "Phyllis Walter Cynthia Heighington Mary Noble Sylvia Taylor." Also on the back of the image is the number "945" stamped in black ink. The word "VELOX" is also present, though faintly. This photograph was mounted in an album on a black page titled "Camp." Written underneath it in white pencil was the caption: "Phizz, Cyn, Mary + Sy" |
