This is a digital born record. No physical copy exists within the Grimsby Museum collections. A black and white photograph of two women standing outside without shoes. They are having a waterfight: their clothes are wet and both hold water receptacles. The one on the left is wearing a striped shirt and rolled up dark pants. She appears to be lunging forward. The woman on the left is wearing a long-sleeved blouse and shorts of a similar colour. She is leaning backwards, bowl held above her head. There are two white structures in the background, with a row of trees beyond them. On the back of the image is a caption written in pencil which reads: "The Water Fight. Mary Noble and Cyn Heighington" Also on the back of the image is the number "660" stamped in black ink. This photograph was mounted in an album on a black page titled "The Big Water Fight." Written underneath it in white pencil was the caption: "Mary + Cynnie" |
