Description |
This is a digital born record. No physical copy exists within the Grimsby Museum collections. A black and white photograph of three women having a waterfight outside. The one on the right is throwing the water from a container at the one on the left (who tries to dodge), while the one in the centre watches from behind while holding a coffee pot. The woman on the left is wearing a short dress, the one in the middle is wearing a striped shirt and rolled up pants, and the one on the right is wearing a long-sleeved button-up shirt and shorts. There are three buildings in the background, a powerline beyond them, and a row of trees beyond that. On the back of the image is a caption written in pencil which reads: "Edith recieves the contents of the wash basin. Mary Noble stands by with the coffee put just in case. Cyn misses Ede." Also on the back of the image is the number "660" stamped in black ink. The word "VELOX" is also present, though faintly. This photograph was mounted in an album on a black page titled "The Big Water Fight." |
