This is a digital born record. No physical copy exists within the Grimsby Museum collections. A black and white photograph of a woman sitting outside on a large coffee pot. She is barefoot with medium-length hair, and is wearing a striped tank top and dark pants rolled up to shorts-length. There are three buildings in the background, a powerline beyond them, and a row of trees beyond that. On the back of the image is a caption written in pencil which reads: "Stubborn isn't she? Mary Noble on the Coffee Pot after a ducking in the shower on the night before her departure. D'Arcy Cropp 1945." Also on the back of the image is the number "660" stamped in blank ink. This photograph was mounted in an album on a black page titled "The Big Water Fight." Written underneath it in white pencil was the caption: "Mary" |
