Description |
Metal token, 1" in diameter. One side has the date 1816 and in the centre is surrounded by the words: "SUCCESS TO COMMERCE & PEACE". the other side has a urn in the centre, topped by two angels holding sprigs of laurel leaves over it. Around all this are the words, "SR. ISAAC BROCK THE HERO OF UPPER CANADA". Mrs. R Larmour found the coin in the ground on her property which had originally been the Allan Nixon property. |
